Babysitting Training Course

Recommended for those ages 11 to 15, this course is designed to help participants develop leadership skills, build their business, help keep themselves and others safe, and learn basic child care and basic first aid. During your training, you will earn your First Aid and CPR/AED certifications (good for two years), which can help you learn how to provide care during an emergency. Must have at least 6 people registered to hold the class.

Dates

  • Friday, May 18, 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm, and Saturday, May 19, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Friday, June 15, 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm and Saturday, June 16, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Must attend both days to gain certification)
  • Friday, Aug. 3, 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm., and Saturday, Aug. 4, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (Must attend both days to gain certification)

Fees

  • Members: $60.00; Non-Members: $75.00

 

 

Lifeguard Classes

If you’re 15 or older and looking for a great year-round job or challenging career that’s in demand, the American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is the best place to start.

CPR/AED/First Aid Classes

Learn to Save a Life
American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED certification courses are designed to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life. Classes held in YMCA Multi-Purpose Room. This is a very basic course and includes Adult and Pediatric CPR, AED and First Aid.

  • $55 – Member
  • $65 – Program Participant

  • Wednesday, May 9 – 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm
  • Wednesday, July 18 – 3:30 pm – 8:00 pm
